I’ve got more information from my Iranian friends today. Read it bellow:
“Salam, [which means hello, in Persian]
There was a mourning demonstration yesterday (18 June), tens of thousands silent demonstrators, most in black, from Toopkhooneh (Emam Khomeini) Sq. , where Mousavi showed up there, to Azadi Ave.
I didn’t see any violence on the way there. In my way back, from Vanak Sq. up to north there were members of Basij/Sepah militia armed with nightsticks and probably guns.
There is no demonstration today (Friday, 19 June) [for those who don’t know, Fridays in Iran are holy days; it’s their weekend], but tomorrow from Enqelab Sq. to Azadi Sq. (today’s demonstration to Friday pray cancelled for probable ill treatments.)”
See some pictures my friend took yesterday in Tehran (again, her/his name is kept secret for security reasons):
